Kevin Quinn

Kevin F. Quinn, 46, of Boston, died unexpectedly January 8, 2012. A native of Brockton, he was a 1984 graduate of Brockton High School where he served as class treasurer. Kevin obtained a bachelor’s degree from Boston University in 1988 and completed his master’s degree in Conflict Resolution in 2007 at UMass.

He was employed as the Director of Housing Advocacy at the Justice Resource Institute, Health Division. Kevin served as Vice President of the Charlesbank Cooperative Corporation. He volunteered at the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts and was a crew member on many of the Boston to New York Aids Rides.

Kevin was the son of the late Marion L. (Webber) Quinn and William F. Quinn Sr.; brother of William Quinn Jr. and his wife Judith of  Brockton, Betty O’Sullivan and her husband Joe of Hanson, James Quinn and his wife Janis of Haverhill, Paul Quinn of Abington, Elaine Iannarone and her husband John of Monroe, CT, Kathy Kelley and her husband Bernie of Brockton and the late Robert Quinn; uncle of 15; great-uncle of 8; godfather of Samantha Howell; nephew of Katherine Quinn of Bridgewater and a friend and associate of many.

All are welcome to calling hours Friday 4-9 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton and his funeral Saturday at 1 p.m. at Arlington Street Church, 351 Boylston St., Boston. Parking at Back Bay Parking Garage, 222 Berkeley St., Boston. Private Cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made in Kevin’s name to the Depression & Bipolar Support Alliance DBSA-Boston, PO Box 102, Belmont MA 02478
